The Helmsman Annual Fund is the vehicle for annual giving at Riverview School and provides approximately 3-4% of the operating budget. This year’s [FY 08] Helmsmen Annual Fund goal is $300,000 with a 45% participation by current parents.
The Helmsman Annual Fund is conducted annually and supports the people and programs that make Riverview School so special. The funds from this annual campaign bridge the gap between what it costs to just run the school – and what it really costs to have the best possible staff and programs. A strong annual fund makes the difference between a good educational experience and an excellent one. I am sure we would all agree that our students deserve excellence.
The Helmsman Annual Fund is a critical source of unrestricted income at the School and provides support for many activities, including:
• Faculty salaries
• Upgrades in technology
• Enhancement of existing programs
• Extracurricular academic and residential programs
• New initiatives
