Horton House Demolition – July 7, 2008

Dear Alum,
After forty years of loyal service to Riverview School, Horton House will be torn down on the morning of Monday, July 7. Work is scheduled to begin at 7:30am. Alumni, staff and other interested individuals are invited to observe this momentous occasion. There will be a designated viewing area on the lawn area in front of Janse Hall.
There are a limited number of wooden shingles taken from the siding of Horton House that have been labeled by Riverview art students and we are offering these to anyone who makes a minimum donation of $10 to the Riverview School Annual Fund. Orders will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. We will also auction the Horton House blue sign with bids being taken until 4pm EST August 31, 2008.
To bid on the Horton House sign simply email Austin Keane at akeane@riverviewschool.org with your bid amount. The leading bid will be updated daily on the Riverview website in the alumni section on the Horton House Demolition/Auction page. The winning bidder will be contacted after the auction is concluded and will be announced on the website as well. Goodluck!

To place an order for a shingle of Horton House simply email Austin Keane at akeane@riverviewschool.org and indicate the amount of your donation. Austin will send a confirmation email with instructions on sending in your donation. After we receive your donation we will ship your commemorative Horton House shingle to you.
