An important component of the residential program is the extracurricular and weekend activities that we offer to our students. Beyond the obvious enjoyment they derive from such events activities teach our students a variety of valuable social and life skills that they can generalize and apply beyond their years at Riverview. Some of these skills are as follows:

Family Weekends

Throughout the school year Riverview hosts four special event weekends for families. Specific schedules are posted here as well as mailed prior to each event. For your convenience in making travel plans, a general outline is shown below.

Opening Weekend September 10 & 11

On the first Saturday after Labor Day, veteran students eagerly greet old friends and welcome newly arriving students while parents delight in meeting other Riverview families.
