Local children’s author, Sara Hoagland Hunter, spoke at Riverview about her recently released book, Every Turtle Counts. Sara’s niece Mimi, a Riverview alumna, is the inspiration for the main character in the book. This inspirational story is about the rescue of an endangered turtle on a Cape Cod beach and the challenges faced and conquered by both the terrapin and a special child with learning disabilities.
