GROW Transition Program
Vocational Training

Project Forward

Students have the opportunity to take part in Project Forward, a school-to-work transition program at Cape Cod Community College. Project Forward’s mission is to encourage students with disabilities to develop employment skills and become responsible learners and workers.  Internships and job coaching are offered in nine different vocational areas from office skills and technology to maintenance and horticulture. Participation in Project Forward is optional and requires a separate application process. Should a Riverview student choose not to take part, GROW provides individualized classes focusing on continued academic, prevocational and social skills development.
