Project SEARCH

The Project SEARCH program is another vocational option for students who are in their last year at GROW. Founded in 1996 and currently replicated at 300 locations throughout the world, Riverview was the first Project SEARCH affiliate in Massachusetts. Through Riverview’s partnerships with Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Cape Cod Healthcare, students receive extensive on-the-job training and career exploration opportunities to prepare for competitive employment.
“The vocational skills that our daughter gained this year through Project SEARCH will serve her well. She knows what it means to be prepared for work each day, problem solve, give a good effort, and feel a sense of accomplishment. These are the life lessons that every young adult needs to experience, and with the expert guidance of her Riverview supervisors, we’ve seen her blossom into a confident and employment-ready young woman.” -- Parent
