Riverview Friends Together is a new community committed to supporting adults in building meaningful lives through connection, personal growth, community participation, and lifelong relationships.
Through shared experiences, purposeful programming, and opportunities for engagement, Friends Together fosters a culture of belonging where members and families can remain connected across adulthood.
Friends Together offers structured programming, social and recreational opportunities, and shared community spaces that support lifelong growth, independence, and belonging. Our permanent site in Hyannis is planned to open in the summer of 2027 and is being designed intentionally to support adult life in all its richness.

Two Ways to Join
Friends Together Day Program (Weekdays)
The Day Program is designed for adults who want structure, purpose, and meaningful engagement during the day. Participants will build schedules that may include:
- Skill-building for independent living
- Wellness, fitness, and creative pursuits
- Lifelong learning and personal interests
- Community-based experiences
- Opportunities to explore employment, civic life, and other forms of community contribution
For individuals who are eligible, the Day Program may be supported by MassHealth and/or DDS funding.
Social & Recreational Program (Evenings & Weekends)
Friends Together also offers a social and recreational program outside of traditional daytime hours. This program focuses on:
- Building friendships and social connection
- Shared leisure and recreational experiences
- Participation in community life during evenings and weekends
At this time, the program is funded privately. Families are encouraged to explore whether existing DDS authorizations may support participation, depending on individual circumstances.
The Friends Together Vision
Riverview Friends Together strives to be a vibrant and inclusive community where adults are empowered to pursue interests, develop relationships, contribute to community life, and continue growing throughout adulthood. Through programming focused on creativity, wellness, recreation, learning, employment exploration, and social connection, Friends Together supports members in shaping lives that reflect their individual goals, identities, and aspirations.
By cultivating meaningful partnerships with local organizations and creating spaces designed for connection and participation, Friends Together seeks to expand opportunities for inclusion while serving as a trusted lifelong community for members and their families.

Friends Together is planning a dedicated site in Hyannis, Massachusetts, with an anticipated opening in the summer of 2027. This site is being designed specifically to support adult life, including program space, social areas, and community-facing elements that invite connection and participation.
