As Director of Advancement Tess oversees Riverview’s Fundraising Strategy, Marketing & Communications and Family Engagement. She works in partnership with School Leadership, and the Development Committee to set and manage the school’s fundraising efforts both annually and through strategic multi-year campaigns. Tess has been with Riverview School since 2016, and previously worked in fundraising and development for an international non-profit organization serving children in Central America and the Caribbean. With nearly 15 years of experience in fundraising and donor development, Tess has direct experience in many areas that make an effective Advancement Team: She has knowledge in special event fundraising, annual giving, major gifts, strategic planning, campaign management and the development of meaningful donor stewardship. Tess lives in Plymouth with her husband John and their three young children June, Graham and Connor. In her downtime you can find her sea glass hunting on the beach with her children, carpooling, shoe lace tying and counting down the days to another coastal summer.
