Sara began working at Riverview in 2001. She’s had many roles including Residential Instructor, Residential Supervisor, Advisor, and Social Pragmatics and Behavior Specialist. In her current role, she oversees the Residential Program and staffing for Middle and High School students. Sara also has coached the Riverview Swim Team for many years.

Sara earned her BA from Hamilton College and her MSW from Boston University. Additionally, she’s completed Social Thinking’s Clinical Training Program and has specialized training related to developing executive functioning skills. Sara discovered her passion for working with students with learning challenges coaching Special Olympics swimming and then working at Camp Northwood, where she spent 15 summers.

When not at Riverview, Sara enjoys being active outdoors, participating in water sports, and competing in triathlons and other multi-sport events around New England.
