As Head of G.R.OW. Charlie oversees all Academic, Vocational and Residential programming and supervises the Wellness and Arts departments. Additionally, he works closely with leadership of Community Affairs to ensure that Riverview is a campus/community that is welcoming, where everyone belongs, and programming supports the values of the school. Previously, Charlie worked at Riverview School from 1993-2010 as a dormitory coordinator, Director of Residential Services at GROW, Associate Director of Development and then Director of Development. In 2010 he left Riverview to work for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Boston and Bottom Line in Jamaica Plain, two organizations focused on mentoring under-resourced populations. In 2017 Charlie returned to Riverview as the Director of Advancement. After supporting the successful Campaign for Wellness, he moved into his current position in 2024. He earned his BS in Psychology and is finishing his MS in Educational Leadership. Charlie lives in Falmouth and enjoys spending time with his four children. He loves to read, exercise, play most sports (basketball, golf, pickleball, and tennis), swim, travel, and spend time on the beach.
