Stephanie Plante is the President and CEO of CPi Developers, a family-owned San Rafael, California business established in 1970 and now home to the Shoreline Center, which includes Target, Home Depot, BMW San Rafael, and Marin Honda. Under her leadership, CPi has expanded its portfolio throughout California to include one of the world’s largest Tesla Supercharger Stations in Kettleman City, a Starbucks in Oroville, and additional holdings in San Rafael.
Before leading CPi, Stephanie built a broadcasting career; experience she now applies as host and producer of the We Are One Marin podcast, celebrating Marin County’s diverse business community. The series earned third place for Best Podcast in the 2023 California Journalism Awards and was featured on KWMR radio. She also hosts and produces In Her Business, a podcast spotlighting women in business across industries.
Stephanie’s civic leadership includes her role as an Associate Board Member on the Redwood Credit Union Board, serving nearly 500,000 members in eight Bay Area counties. She also dedicated eight years to the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, where she was Board Chair in 2017 and founded the East San Rafael Working Group, which she continues to chair today. Stephanie also chaired the City of San Rafael’s General Plan 2040 Steering Committee, served as the Marin Independent Journal’s Public Member to its Editorial Board, and co-founded Giving Marin, which underwrites marketing space for local non-profits.
Stephanie and her husband, Chris, are the proud parents of two young adults – a current senior at Riverview School and a senior at Bucknell University. They are active supporters of educational and community initiatives throughout Marin County and the Riverview community.
